Designed by Fred Lip in 1952
The GDG Electronic Black Steel model has a strong history because an avant-gardist and innovative GDG model has been offered by Fred LIP to general de Gaulle in 1958 and then to general Eisenhower. Made in Besançon and equipped of a french ISA movement, the GDG perpetuates its french identity.
LIP is the first French watch-making manufacturer which developed the first French electronic watch in 1952. Thanks to more than 10 years of research, and thanks to efficiency, passion and cleverness, the LIP engineers managed to develop such an innovation product.
